"Together Making a Difference in the Community"
Our Vision
At PAMAI – Philippine Australian Multicultural Association Inc., we believe that compassion is most powerful when it moves us to act. Founded 15 years ago as the continuation of our foundational organisation, APCO, PAMAI stands as a community built on compassion, inclusion, and shared purpose.
"Connecting cultures through compassion, learning, and shared service"
Multicultural Inclusion
Fostering a sense of belonging for everyone, regardless of background.
Community Empowerment
Building capacity and confidence in our community members.
Social Action
Turning compassion into tangible, meaningful change.
How We Create Impact
Our compassion takes shape through tangible community action: programs, partnerships, and celebrations that foster inclusion, empowerment, and belonging.
Emergency Relief Campaigns
Each year, PAMAI leads an emergency relief appeal to send much-needed aid to disaster-affected kababayans in the Philippines. Members volunteer their time to collect, sort, and ship relief goods.
Capacity-Building Programs
In partnership with Burwood Council, PAMAI delivers free, practical workshops such as Cyber Safety and Digital Awareness, equipping members with knowledge to thrive in a digital world.
Intergenerational Inclusion
In collaboration with Rainbow Crossing, we design activities that bridge generations through creativity and connection — ensuring everyone feels valued.
Festivals & Cultural Events
Annual Philippine Independence Day and Multicultural Festivals are free and open to all, reflecting our belief that culture should unite, not divide.
